Our Process
From First Contact to Live Website
A Clear, Transparent Process
No surprises, no hidden steps. Here's exactly how we take your project from initial idea to live website. Everything is tracked in Trello so you always know where your project stands.
The Journey to Your New Website
Seven clear steps from discovery to deployment
Step 1: Discovery Form
You start by filling out our comprehensive discovery form. This helps us understand your business, goals, and technical requirements before we even talk. It is homework that saves everyone time.
Step 2: Research & Proposal
We research your industry, analyze your competitors, and review websites you like. Then we create a detailed proposal with our recommendations, transparent pricing, and clear timeline. No guesswork.
Step 3: Onboarding & Payment
Once you accept the proposal, we onboard you to your dedicated Trello board and collect the 30% upfront payment. From this point, all communication happens in Trello - transparent and trackable.
Step 4: Draft Development
We build the first draft of your website with placeholder content and stock images. This gives you a real feel for the structure and flow. You can request changes directly in Trello.
Step 5: Content Integration
After draft approval, we integrate final copy and images. Need a copywriter or photographer? We can arrange that (charged separately). If you need a CMS, we build it at this stage.
Step 6: Final Review & Payment
You review the complete website and request any final tweaks. Once approved, we collect the remaining payment. Everything is tested thoroughly before going live.
Step 7: Launch & Handover
We deploy your website, set up search engine indexing, and ensure everything runs smoothly. You get training on managing your site, and we transition to monthly support retainer.
What Makes Our Process Different
We have refined our process to eliminate common pain points
No email chains, no lost messages. Every update, change request, and milestone is tracked in your dedicated Trello board.
No mandatory meetings or calls. Work at your own pace, review and respond when it suits your schedule.
Clear quotes upfront. Standard packages for common features, separate quotes for custom work. No surprises.
You work directly with Berke and Nisa, not account managers. Technical questions get technical answers.
If something goes wrong, we tell you immediately. If a feature will not work, we explain why and offer alternatives.
We build the technical foundation. If you need marketing, we will recommend trusted agencies, but that is not our focus.
Post-Launch Support
Your website journey does not end at launch
1 hour of support per month for updates, tweaks, and maintenance. Unused hours do not roll over, but they ensure we are always available.
We host your site on Netlify or our VPS servers. Fast, secure, and always up-to-date. Hosting fees included in retainer.
We keep your website secure with regular updates and monitoring. No need to worry about technical maintenance.
Need SEO or digital marketing? We will connect you with trusted agencies who can take your site to the next level.
Process FAQs
Common questions about how we work
How long does the entire process take?
Typically 4-6 weeks from signed proposal to live website. Complex projects with custom features may take longer. We provide a realistic timeline in our proposal.
Can we have meetings if needed?
Yes, we can schedule video calls if requested. However, most clients find Trello communication more efficient and prefer the async approach.
What if I need changes after the draft?
Changes are expected and built into our process. You can request modifications through Trello, and we will implement them before moving to the next phase.
Do I need to provide all content upfront?
No. We build the draft with placeholder content first. You can provide final copy and images later, or we can arrange copywriting and photography services.
What happens if the project scope changes?
We will provide a transparent quote for any additional features. You decide whether to include them or stick to the original scope.
Can I manage the website myself after launch?
Yes, if your site includes a CMS. We provide training and documentation. The monthly retainer covers updates you would rather not handle yourself.
